Description
The Lindström RX-8130 is an Ergo™ Micro-Bevel® precision-cut diagonal cutter with an oval head, intended for cutting leads, jewelry wire, and general assembly applications. Its cutting capacity is 0.2–1.0 mm (0.008–0.04 in), listed for solid copper wire.
The cutter is made from high-performance alloy steel with a burnished finish, and its Micro-Bevel® cutting edges are precision induction-hardened to 63–65 HRC. A precision screw joint minimizes friction and maximizes alignment of the cutting edges.
Ergo™ handle and Biospring®
The two-component ESD-safe Ergo™ handles pair a thermoplastic surface with a tough polypropylene body for superior grip, and are dissipative for work with static-sensitive components. The Micro-Touch™ handle shape makes it possible to control and rotate the pliers between thumb and index finger for precision work. An integrated Biospring® return spring reduces tension throughout the working cycle of the tool and can be adjusted to three different positions.
